We have had a number of reports in the area about a rogue trader going door to door claiming to be from Warrington Borough Council offering help on energy bills.

Warrington Trading Standards have confirmed that the male does not work for the council. 

If you have any CCTV or Stills of the male we would be interested to view. Please let us know.

Please remember, always check ID, and verify directly with the organisation/company who they claim to be.
